"The best marketing is the kind that makes you look like a "Jedi" master and your prospect like a padawan".

I've noticed that most of my clients who didn't succeed selling (before working with me) failed due to one or more of these mistakes:

They had social media presence (even one or two community managers) but had no idea if the content was correct.

They created content to get likes but not sales (and yes… there's a big difference between an engagement strategy (likes) and a sales strategy).

They ran an ad campaign without a strategy (hint: an ad is not the same as a sales funnel…)

If you don't fix the mistake preventing you from increasing your sales, you'll spend a lot of money on ads, community managers, and agencies that only make people ask for "more information" and "price" but never buy.

The problem with the sobrinity manager and agencies

Back then I was going from marketing course to marketing course, but none of them helped me increase my sales.

People on posts and in the Inbox only asked for "INFO" and "PRICE", but they never bought from me because they'd leave me on read when I answered and that frustrated me.

I was desperate because I couldn't afford to pay for advertising in traditional media to promote my services, so I hired a community manager.

They delivered very pretty graphics with all the likes their posts got, but I'd ask them "and the sales?"

That's when I decided to go to an agency to try to increase my online sales. I was surprised they charged a lot, but I thought it would be worth it because they'd increase my sales.

The first thing they told me was that to get a sale, my brand or product first needed a certain level of awareness with people before a digital sales campaign could be run.

The problem with the awareness campaign was that it was costing me a fortune and producing zero income.

My numbers didn't allow me to stay with the agency and I left with 0 sales made and a lot of money spent.

The importance of being a "Jedi" master in digital marketing

One day I discovered the term Educational Marketing which is about educating your prospects about your product and how it will solve their needs, while at the same time positioning yourself as an authority figure with them.

I decided to implement this strategy in my marketing campaigns and it worked! I had more sales, but I thought it was a fluke so we applied it to another campaign and it worked again!

We kept modifying the campaign. Adding and removing things and that's when the magic happened:

pesos in sales in just one month.

Over time I started thinking about why my sales skyrocketed with this strategy while the other one only got me INFO AND PRICE responses.

I realized that with educational marketing, your prospect keeps learning more and more about your product and figures out whether it's right for them.

Whereas with the other approach, I was trying to sell from the ad, so when people saw the post they weren't interested because they didn't know everything they could get from my services.

That's why it's important to present yourself as a Jedi master (Star Wars language again) because you'll get more results when YOU show them the path that will solve their problems.
